Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Paris, the Grand Hôtel Dechampaigne encapsulates the charm of old-world France, making it an ideal base for a fashionista like myself during my recent holiday. While the rooms are quaintly irregular—a delightful quirk due to the building's rich history—the cozy ambiance, adorned with refined decor, truly harkens back to a bygone era of elegance. The location, mere moments from the Seine and splendid eateries, allowed me to indulge in Paris’s vibrant fashion scene with ease. After a long day, returning to a haven equipped with all the comforts, including a courtesy tray for tea and some delightful cheeses at breakfast, was distinctly satisfying. This hotel is not just a place to stay;
